About Me
I’m a community strategist, consultant, and changemaker with deep roots in the very neighborhoods I serve. I was raised in — and continue to live and work in — communities that are too often overlooked, disinvested, and underestimated. That lived experience is not just part of my story — it’s my superpower. It gives me a unique lens and unmatched credibility in spaces where trust and understanding matter most.
I bridge worlds. I know what it means to live in poor neighborhoods, and I also know how to sit at the table with funders, developers, and decision-makers to make real change happen. That ability to navigate both sides — with authenticity and strategic clarity — is what sets me apart.
I work with government agencies, real estate developers, nonprofits, and businesses to create strategic plans, neighborhood plans, fundraising strategies, and deep community engagement efforts. My focus is always on building capacity within underserved communities and ensuring the people who live there are driving the vision for their future.
My work has been recognized with the Central New York Community Foundation’s Grassroots Community Leader of the Year Award and the Tomorrow’s Neighborhood Today Award. I proudly serve as Board Chair of Light A Candle For Literacy and sit on the board of the Helio Health Foundation, helping guide mental health and recovery services with compassion and community voice.
Through Harriet 5.0, I’m creating a new model of leadership — one grounded in lived experience, powered by strategy, and committed to creating change that’s measurable, lasting, and truly transformative.
